It’s beginning to look like we only care about flip flops but we are here to talk about sandals as well. Any footwear that allows our feet to be celebrated should be enjoyed.
Just as flip flops come in a variety of styles and levels of ‘smartness’ so do sandals - in fact even more so. Sandals are summer shoes and so usually have more ventilation, a wonderful array of colours and a style suitable for everything from a ball to messing about on the beach.
There are beautiful, elegant sandals with a variety of heel heights suitable to wear to a smart evening function. Choosing the right shoe to accompany your dress is very important, not only to get the correct heel height but also the right look when the toe of your sandal is revealed under your dress. The same can be said of bridal shoes and there are many designs available that are suitable for any bride. It is after all one of the most important days of your life so you want everything to feel just right and happy feet go a long way to making that happen.
At the other end of the scale are the everyday sandals that we wear to take the children to the park, to walk the dog or do the shopping. Comfortable feet are happy feet and having happy feet is a great step towards having a happy day - it won’t cure all your problems but being comfortable when you walk does help make you feel better.
So go on and start investigating the enormous range of sandals out there, whatever you need them for you’ll find something suitable. I have even discovered Teva sandals which are rugged enough for some adventurous walking as well as being very comfortable.

Flip flops are the most comfy shoe ever. I love it when the summer arrives so that I can get out my collection of flip flops and show off my nice painted nails.
