It was a long hard winter but thankfully I could placate my feet with fluffy flip-flop slippers. Now the summer sun is back they are happily facing the world in a variety of flip-flops and enjoying the freedom.
Feet also appreciate flip-flop season as they are more likely to be pampered allowing them to look their best out on display.
At the end of the last flip-flop season I had invested in a pair of FitFlops. I enjoy walking, love wearing flip-flops and am always game for trying out anything to help look after my body. I did find them fairly comfortable to walk in except my feet tended to slip out which was annoying. Even more annoying as I see so many people happily walking along in theirs without any problem! So the FitFlops have had a quiet winter, however I think I have found a compromise suitable for me. I've always done the gardening wearing flip-flops so I thought I'd give the FitFlops a go. They have lovely protective soles and because I'm not marching along my feet don't slip out; so doing tasks like mowing the grass is now multi-tasking - my feet are in the fresh air, the soles of my feet are protected and my legs get a bit of an extra work out as I walk up and down. (Also the soles are thicker than most flip-flops so I also gain a bit of height making some tasks easier) Result!!
